 free notation program? So I've been transcribing Jimmy Rainey and Emily Remler, and need an online program, preferably free that would let me notate the solos on staff. SAre there any such proagrams for free?     |

| Try this... .:: TuxGuitar ::. Open Source Tablature Editor :: TuxGuitar It looks identical to GuitarPro5 which I purchased a while ago for $60. GuitarPro is pretty good. TuxGuitar looks just as good and it's free. Let us know what you think |

| If you're more of a programmatical thinker (like, you know how to program in C or something), you might like LilyPond. You basically enter the notes into a text file like you would a program, then "compile" it and get a PDF output. I used it for the first two years of music school. |
