Default Ligon books study

Hi there,

I have bought 4 Bert Ligon books based on the comments I read across the forum (Connecting Chords..., Jazz Theory resources I & II and Comprehensive Technique) and i also find him very good and logical to read...

The question I wanted to ask is in which order should these books be studied? I don't want to start the battle on many fronts and then lose the war

Thanks in advance...

I only have CCWLH. I can imagine the order is too important. Just try to pick things up little by little.

I did them in this order:

Jazz Theory resources I
Jazz Theory resources II
Connecting Chords
Comprehensive Technique

Worked well for me.

I look at a page from one book...work on it for a while..

Then another book..the same way..like learning a new word...

Do not put your nose to the grindstone man...little by little...

The more time you have the better and try to put to use what you learn as you go...

time on the instrument...pierre

Thanks for the information guys.

I was not thinking of running through them anyhow, but sitting with the instrument and taking the time to absorb the material It's clear that studying them could be a lifetime task...

I was just wondering in terms of their contents, whether it would make sense to tackle them in a specific order to maximize the benefit...

Thanks again!
