OK, I watched this a while ago and liked it but.........................I just stepped into an elevator and started whisteling and guess what came out. I got back to my desk and while waiting for my PC to boot started tapping on my desk. Guess what rythm it was.

Now I know why everyone plays it. It just sticks.

I'm glad to see that so many people have transcribed my lick ;-)

haha, this is awesome!

I like how, even though it's basically the same licks, it varies so much. Some of the samples I was super into while others sounded so vanilla and bad.

That must be one of those "essential" licks I've often heard about.

Obviously, the musician that played it the fastest is the best.

(That is a great clip.)

So who played it first?
Does anyone know?

Makes me wonder how many more licks show up all over the place like that!

I don't know if I'm more impressed with how many players use that lick, or that fact that someone went out and found all those examples and put it into a video.
