I really hoped that people would take a run through it before getting hung up on difficult memorization sections. So glad ya like it. |

| | Jonny, I just got the hard copy in the mail today. I really like your interval diagrams, it's what's missing in other books I have and in a great many others that I have looked through. These alone make the book worthwhile for getting to really know the guitar fretboard layout. Great work! |

I really feel like intervals are the #1 thing to understand in theory- and having a visual instrument (the fretboard) is a great tool if we learn to see and hear on it. Glad you are happy with the diagrams. Keep me posted as you go along. |

| | Hey thanks. It seems like a straight forward, no BS approach to it. And with tabs too. Just the way I like it |

| | Hello Pac,
don't put so many pages of your book available for free.
I bought the pdf version of your book, although I also got all 4 books by Ligon.
I especially like the final chord section. |

| | Thanks for checking it out- Glad you dig it! Ligon is a gold mine...
I don't mind sharing "my" pages too much; it's just music! I feel like things should be made available for free or low cost whenever possible when it comes to information.
One of my favorite sites Edge : Conversations on the edge of human knowledge releases science books, but they also have all of the contributions online in their archives for those who do not wish to buy the books- In the end I think everyone benefits. I still buy them all in paperback... |

| | Hi Jonny, I hope the ebook version is proving to be a good idea for you - I just bought one myself, it looks absolutely great, and I've seen enough parts of it, kindly posted on the forum, to know how well written it is. Superb value too, and I think it does help to address a few gaps or weaker areas in my playing. I'm going to check out Bert Ligon too.
So cheers, and a big thank you. |
