Interesting ii-V-I Backing Track for the Key of C Major

I just posted a new YouTube video that gives you a 20 minute workout in the key of C Major. It's all in one video to keep it simple. I used the 3's and 7's to give you flexibility on your scale choices, but I usually encourage my students to just focus on the chord tones first.

Track #1: 4 minutes on CM7

Track #2: 4 minutes on Dm7

Track #3: 2 minutes going from CM7 to Dm7 (2 bars each)

Track #4: 4 minutes on G7

Track #5: 2 minutes going from Dm7 to G7 (2 bars each)

Track #6: 2 minutes going from G7 to CM7 (2 bars each)

Track #7: 2 minutes going from Dm7 to G7 to CM7 (1 bar on Dm7 and G7, 2 bars on CM7)

I hope some of you find it helpful.

How did you exceed the famous 10 minute YouTube barrier?

I think it was lifted a while ago. I noticed others had longer videos, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It worked!

It's actually a CM7, but I can see how it might sound like an Em7. Those chords are very closely related.

Just wondering if you comped the chords by pressing keys of a mid nineties telephone?

Oh my gosh, that is hilarious! I created it a few years ago using a Boss DR-880 drum machine. It's crazy how many songs these days actually use that sound.

I was just looking for a way to create all these tracks for all 12 keys (I have over 6 hours of them) without having to play my guitar for 6 hours (I have a hand injury and I didn't have Garage Band at the time.)

I hope some folks are able to get something out of it.
