I don't dislike anyone. I was merely saying, Let him post, those who find interest can and will respond. Those who find his posts on the subject inappropriate can choose to ignore. If you look in the "Hey 82Bennedetto" thread(#50) you will see I expressed interest in his guitars, and complimented his apparent skill. My most recent post was directed to those complainers who clearly fall into the second group I mentioned, the uninerested.

RonD,

I'm anxious to hear the now the next A MANO turned out. What options did you go for? What color did you choose? I'd like to one done with a violin type finish.

82B, how is the production business running? Got any more sample pics of color options?

RonD can post his options on here if he'd like to, but it's not my place to reveal. Maybe he wants it to be a surprise

Things are moving at a steady, moderate pace, but everything is very productive right now. We're working on some interesting ideas at the moment, including input from a couple of great luthiers. We're utilizing player suggestions as well for some model ideas. Production, itself, is moving smoothly and we're excited about the developing charitable giving aspect we're introducing.

We don't have swatches of sample colors (yet) but that's also due, in part, to our model. Everything is made to order and we have access to a boat-load of colors.

There's also a lot going on beyond the instruments, so things are hectic but fairly well balanced. It's all in good time, so expect some great things.

I sent my specs to Baltar via PM. If anyone else is interested, I'll post them here. Also, when I receive pics of the build, (hint, hint) I'll post those as well.

Waiting is the hardest part.

Update: We are working on a method by which a customer can ship us any desired component and have it installed.

We may also begin offering bodies without hardware or electronics if one prefers to do installations themselves.

Do you ship COD? Do you include a trial period? Do you have any customer testimony?

Sorry for the delayed response.

We do not ship COD and have no intention to ship COD.

Believe it or not, we can't afford a trial guitar yet. When we have some more capital it's something we'd like to look into. However, the price to ship a guitar back and forth looks to be very expensive.

And we have testimony on the eBay page and I'm sure you'll be hearing, in detail, from Ron on his instrument.

We're still working, growing, and improving (plus a lot has been going on here...my father is suddenly and recently very ill.) It will take time, but hopefully the good faith will create a name for us to a point where we can offer some more traditional things and keep our prices where they are. I can sense the skepticism and that's understandable, but all in good time

A quick update I'd like to share with everyone!

We've gotten many more custom orders than we could have possibly anticipated at this point! As I'm sure you can imagine, it's a lot to start builds when they are all made by hand to order in addition to keeping tabs on all of those custom instruments.

As a result, we will likely begin offering one off, non-custom guitars that will be readily available. They will have many more conventional options (such as body depths, nut widths, and colors) unlike the more exotic options we offer on our customs.

The kicker is we'll be able to offer them for less than our custom instruments, there won't be a wait, and the guitars will still be unique. So if you're in the market for a standard 16" archtop with your regular nut width and a traditional color, you can likely snag one from us.

Expect the price point to be very comparable with the Loar LH-700.

Also, we're working hard to get a dealer relationship with All-Parts so we can offer so more popular hardware brands, so if you're really gassing for vintage style Kluson's or some modern Gotoh's, we'll have access to it.

Looks like the first one-off available will be a 16", deep sunburst. More details to follow, PMs if anyone is interested!

Some exciting news; making the step towards a standard model that's ready to ship. There will, however, be some occasional one-offs if I'm feeling fancy. Measurements will be set. Likely, 16" body 25" scale.

Need some general community input for the options!

Colors: (Gimme some standards. I might be feeling wine red...)
Fret Type: Nickel or Stainless
F-Hole Design: Standard of Modern
Binding: None, Ivoroid, or Maple (like Ron's up there!)
A floating pickup and a humbucker version may be offered.
Bracing: Cross or Parallel (Set humbuckers can only be used with Parallel bracing)
Respond with your favorite configuration
