 I have a Sweet 16 with a couple of mods that put it over the top for me. First it's 1/2 inch thinner than a standard Sweet 16. Second I took the humbucker out and put in a Lindy Fralin P-92. The combination completely changed the response curve of the guitar, eliminated feedback (I just sat in with a jump blues group and used the Sweet 16 at a higher and slightly overdriven volume than one would ever use on a jazz gig.)   I have yet to hand the guitar to anyone who hasn't absolutely fallen in love with it.     |

| Just for the record... I am 'that crazy guy' who has the the sadowsky listed at the gear page and I never started it at $3400. I put it up a week ago at $3000 and I have not moved it either up or down since then. I personally feel that it is a fair price. There is the same one on Ebay with the starting bid at $3500. The retail brand new is $4075 and there is a wait list. |
