| | Which one? They're all hollowbodies. The J-9's are just thin with a small wood block under the posts. Not semi-hollow as one would expect. |

| | That's one of my Japanese D'Aquisto Centuras made by Aria's custom shop. The violin-burst finish looks much better with a decent camera, but I was going for a "sexy" feel in these pics. LOL! I will be putting the floating Bartolini back on this one next week.
and those J-9 Washingtons sound MUCH deeper than a semi. There were a bunch for sale on eBay recently, and most were erroneously listed as "semi-hollow" when they are really "full hollow". |

I have always disliked floating pickups (still do) but that Bartolini is an exception! |

| | The leopard skin cushion cover certainly adds to the porn effect
How do you keep these guitars in such beautiful condition? You obviously don't gig with them. My three babies are all dinged and marked, but I play them a lot. They're all I've got so, in my life, if I use something it gets worn. |

| | Studio work only keeps them purty. If I had to gig, it would be with one of my Electra 335 clones. |

| | Freud might also say, "sometimes an "F" hole is just an "F" hole..."
And I admit that I have awakened on my couch clutching my latest favorite guitar after coming home from partying the night before.
