Default Amp Lunchbox Monitor

The reason I'm asking is because the way that I'm thinking of running it is a line 6 pod XT live into the Aux input ,due to I'm going direct in a PA...I'm doing it now with a Marshall MG15 CDR into the CD input to bypass the preamp works fine ...I want something smaller since I'm only using it as a monitor, but think that the Lunchbox can pull double duty as a convenient guitar amp...Stage volume is something that I have to keep down...Here is my question every one said that these amps are very loud do you think that doing it this way will be possible?...If some has a lunchbox can you tell if you have run something like CD player ECT through it and is it very loud...Thanks

Comprehensive review of the Lunchbox coming up this evening - lot of work went into the evaluation by a lot of people. Check back in a few hours.

Several touring guys are using the LB this way, FWIW. The amp has an AUX input on the back (1/8" stereo) that is a slightly less processed than the main guitar signal. It's still a guitar amp, rather than a PA kind of sound, though.

Have you considered the upcoming "Lunchbox Acoustic"? It's cleaner, flatter, has better reverb, more I/O.

I was wondering about the voicing of the Lunchbox Acoustic. So it will be flatter and less mid-rangy than the Lunchbox? Add to that the two inputs, separate Treble/Bass, reverb and light weight (12 lbs) -- it definitely sounds interesting.

Yes, it is generally flatter and has less processing than the LB. Also the mic channel is voiced distinctly from the instrument channel, to try and optimize each. North American units will ship at the end of this week, and should be available to audition early next month.

I see the Lunchbox Acoustic has appeared in ZT's online store.
