Any thoughts on what mods I can do to my Blues Jr. to make it a better jazz amp?

The easiest thing would be to put a lower gain tube in the first position maybe a 12au7 instead of the 12ax7. That would tame it down quite a bit. There are a lot of tone mods out there if you are handy with a soldering iron.

I've had my power switch replaced with the three position switch for standby; I've changed out my speaker and now use the Eminence Cannibis Rex; and I'm considering the output transformer mod.

Hi,
I made a new cabin for more headroom. like this. Chansed speaker and that´s it. Sounds ok to me, the only negation is that it weigths a couple of kgs more than éarlyer.
