I have a Hofner Chancellor, blond. Bought it at Rivendell Music a few years back. Beautiful guitar, great acoustic and electric sound. Didn't cost much, fun to play. Love it.

Congrats. You are one of the few people in the world to own one of these - Hofner has made very few Chancellors since its inception in @2004.

It's Hofner's flagship - a 17" jazz guitar with a carved spruce top, carved maple back, and solid maple rims. 16th fret neck joint, floating Hofner minihumbucker. Comparable to a Gibson L-5C, Guild Artist Award, Heritage Golden Eagle. It comes in natural or violin varnish finish.

I had one with me at the Montreal Guitar Show over the weekend and it got plenty of comments.

What a lovely New President from the OP. I really love Höfner guitars and can recommend nearly all of them (my teacher is endorses them, and I had the honor to play nearly all of those axes)...
After those testings I just bought a Höfner John Stowell Signature 4-5 weeks ago and I'm so happy with it... I may be making some kind of review if someone's interested

Hey, Hammertone. Great to see you here. It was great meeting you and hanging at MGS. And, your Chancellor was sweet.
