Default anyone tried black nylon strings?

as above - anyone tried them? i usually use pro arte hard tension, but looking at stringsbymail i noticed d'addario also sell a set with black trebles (same basses).

here's the link :

D'Addario EJ50 Pro Arte Hard Tension (black trebles), Full Set [EJ50] : Strings By Mail

do the black trebles sounder darker or brighter than usual? hopefully there's someone here that has compared them and can share their insight.

I used to use black ones. They sound the same as clear nylon, the only sound variation being determined by the make and manufacturing quality rather than the colour.

Sound and feel - subjectively very nice, worth a try.
On top of that, my kids think that black strings can make a classical guitar look cool... well at least cooler than it normally looks.

I've got some on my jazz bass, they sound great if you're looking for an approach to that elusive double bass sound. I was working on "So What" and it got much closer to the bass part sound. Afraid I can't remember the make... maybe La Bella?
