| | X-500, I see you're in central Jersey. Have you checked out 9South guitars in Freehold yet? Bob there is a huge fan of Guilds. Real laid back, no pressure to seel shop and a knowledgeable owner who loves talking vintage guitars. |

randyc | Man, I cant argue with that. I'm just a wee bit partial to Guilds ... GUILDS, GUILDS and more GUILDS! I heard good things about Japanese instrument craftmanship that they produced in the last 20 years or so and I thought I balance my recommendations for folks looking to acquire their first jazz box.

I used to work in Freehold Music in 78 as an apprentice piano technician and tuner ( I never finished my apprenticeship). However, I worked with an amazing assortment of jazz pianists, wow! Those cats were very influential in forging my jazz appreciation.
