Guitar Ibanez JSM, a blend of Artcore AS103, Yamaha SA2200?

I am a proud owner of a Yamaha SA2200, totally love it, don't take her out often cuz I don't wanna sweat on it. For daily necessities, I use an Ibanez Artcore AS103NT semi-hollow for all jazz/blues/R&B type gigs, truely a workhorse, can take a punch and then some. I love the feel of the Ibanez (beautiful neck, balanced and SOLID SOLID body) ..I love the quality and sound of the Yamaha (simply beautiful when recorded...clean as a whistle...has ebony fingerboard, mahogany neck, coil splitting alnicos, a work of art..see my avatar) . In the mood for another semi and I thought maybe the Ibanez John Scofield Model had the best of both worlds. Any thoughts ? (PS Thumbnails below of Ibanez AS103NT and YAMMY SA2200 with installed Bigsby)

Nice collection Thomas. I see a 335ish theme there.

Actually I used to hate 335ish(semi-hollow) guitars...just didn't like the look and felt that they were too "one sound". I used mainly Fender guitars, and had an Ibanez George Bension..which looked amazing(and sounded even better).....didn't like the double cutaway look of a semi, reminded me of 70's rock (Cream, Zappa, Doors etc ..altho I love that stuff too!) Just didn't seem versatile enough, not jazzy enough like a hollow-body...not rocky enough like a Strat/Les Paul/Tele.....I had a Made in China Epiphone and that didn't help either...until I got the Yammy SA2200..totally rocked my world..the best sounding/verstile/high quality/greatest looking axe I had ever owned....put a Bigsby on it and together with the coil-splitters, it has become the MOST versatile guitar and have grown to LOVE the thinner Japanese cutaway horns (not so Mickey Mouse Ears like 335). It is in a league of it's own and (I know... sacrilege to say ..but light years ahead 335...if anything like a 355)... I also have the Ibanez Artcore AS103....a lesser luxury but still holds it's own against most post-1969 non re-issue ES335s. Same warm rosewood sound but somehow better balanced and has a beauty of a neck (maple/bubinga)..Together the 2 have the best possible qualities that a semi-hollow electric guitar should have ....AND.......so I was wondering about the JSM. Peace!!

I own a SA2200 at one time and love it, you can do alot more with it then a stock 335. I myself like it better then the gibson 335. Its a wonderful guitar wish I had mine back and now Iam about to the place where I can get another one.
