Please help me out!! Hey All, I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a true hollow body Jazz box. My short list is down to the Ibanez Artcore series for their price and seemingly good reviews from several different sources. I want to step up to the next level from my AS73B and have been looking specifically at the AF95, AK95 and AG95 series for the sound I want to achieve. From what I'm reading the AF and AK are slightly bigger in the body than the AG for which the AG would suit my frame size, but the AK has a wood bridge, which suits the warm tones I'm shooting for. I could always change out the tune-o-matic style bridge on the AG for a wood bridge, so that is really not a showstopper. While doing research on the guitars I'm considering, I discovered the AF105 NT. The one in this picure has a tune-o-matic, but they come stock with a wood bridge. http://www.jazzguitar.be/forum/attac...d=124740393 2 This box has me intrigued since the fact that it is very close to the PM35 Pat Metheny model. The differences are the AF105 has its tone and volume in the pick guard and a wood bridge. Here is where my dilemma is and I need some help with. I don’t believe Ibanez makes this box anymore and it is hard to find any reviews for it. Has it been discontinued because of quality or it was not a big seller? I have found one on-line so I can't play it to see for myself if it's going to be what I'm looking for. Should I just work with what's available in the current models or take a chance on this one? Please, help me out!!
