Default One more guitar to sell and I'm done

For anyone who hasn't been following the news, I turned over Soloway Guitars to Doug Kauer with the change in management coming during NAMM. My custom order book is closed but I have one guitar remaining in inventory and it's time to sell it. Once this is gone, I'm done and you will only be able to get a Soloway from Kauer.

So here's the deal ... The price include both shipping in the US and PayPal fees. I am willing to consider trades or partial trades. To anyone who buys one of these (not including trades), I will pay for Bob at Brookwood Leather to make you one of his fabulous straps, a $145 value.

For more information, e-mail me at jim@jimsoloway.com or call me at 503-977-2727.

Out of curiosity, will you be retiring or simply moving on to different things?

The company is now in the hands of Doug Kauer of Kauer guitars. My plan is to play guitar, record an album, do some teaching and go back to gigging. I'll also continue consulting with Doug helping with marketing and design.

When I started Soloway guitars, I was gigging five nights a week. The original plan was to build three guitars and sell two. It's now over 300 guitars later and I'm down to a couple gigs a year. I'd like to change that while I'm still young enough to actually get out there and do it.

Best of luck. Let us know how to find where you're playing. I'd love to hear you live.
