| | Grolsch beer bottle gasket strap locks I've been happily using these rubber gaskets as strap locks and have had no trouble with them (once I am sure they are on securely). Just found a cheap online source for them, so I don't have to buy two bottles of Grolsch beer for each set. : ) Grolsch Gaskets - Bottle Caps & Closures - Bottling - Equipment - Brewing : Northern Brewer
I think one order could last me a long long time!
If these are your "cup of tea", enjoy!
Best wishes,
George |

And thanks for the tip. I live in Denmark not far from the German border and we Danes often shop in Flensburg just south of the border. Beer is one of those things which are cheaper there. Next time my wife and I go there, I'll buy a 6-pack of Flensburger Pils which has the same caps and gaskets. |

| | I've been using the Grolsch straplocks since 1991, when I started studying at the University of Enschede. I lived only about 750 meters away from the brewery... I think the guitar I used back then still has the "straplocks" I put on at that time, so I can testify they last for decades!
(by the way, a brewery can really spread a very strong beer smell, which is not funny when you wake up with a hang over caused by...... their beer!) |
