Cool! What speaker output does it have? 8 ohm?

I always wondered why Roland hasn't made a Cube head.

the speaker output is 8 ohm on both output's. and another interessting thing i realized yesterday, is that the internal delay - which i used to use just at home if i'm too lazy to install my effect pedal, sounds realy not that bad if you have two speakers plugged.

anyway i always wondered why roland hasn't made a cube head too, so that's why i did it on my own. i also think that plugging different speaker's into the amp suppurts the modelings of the amptype's. for instance, if i want a clean sound for jazz or even blues ( not crunchy) i love to use my delta demon. i tried a 4 x 12" cab with celestion (i don't know the exact model, since it was not mine) too, and the results for overdriven and distorted sounds are more dynamic and for me more true to what i am expecting if i think of these sounds.

but anyway i think everything is better than the stock-speaker of the cube, because it's not dynamic and works only on high volume. and know i have a good working horse.

Looks nice..

May I ask WHY though? Was the speaker / cabinet on the cube broken or you just didn't like how it sounded? Just wondering...

Sure! The speaker was broken and you could play just on high volumes, thats why i changed speaker + i like 10" speaker

i don't know what it's like with an open back, but it's a loud amp, so i guess it depends on the speaker you are using. but i won't see a problem in having an open back speaker on it.
