Default Schatten AT-04 Archtop Guitar Pickup

Annbody has expierience with ebony bridge with pizzo pick up?
Shatten,Fishman...
is it usefull?

Yes, i have a Schatten bridge with pickup. It is nice and high quality. Still sounds like a piezo ....

Yes, it works decent without a preamp. I can plug it into my AER and get an ok tone out of it. Of course i was hoping to really capture the acoustic sound of my guitar but i guess this was asking too much of a piezo (there is another interesting recent thread here of how to best amplify the natural tone). So i guess one has to eq a bit to make it sound rich and full. At the end of the day i find myself not using it too much and rather go through the magnetic pickups. Maybe by playing through two amps simultaneously and/or an eq pedal the result would be nice.
