| | I have one and like it a lot, no reliability issues (so far). Very easy to see on stage, small footprint, kind of cheap and true bypass. It's very fast when youi change strings and extremly accurate without being annoying (hate those tunners that never turn green).
Heard good things also about the Korg black pedal, even smaller then the Polytune and a little cheaper. The poly thing works but I never use it and I don't actually find it ueseful at all. Much better than TU-2 (never tried TU-3) |

| | I have had mine since it came out. I love it. I use both the standard meter tuning and the polytuning and find them very consistent. Small footprint and very reliable. Several friends also have it, and haven't made any complaints. I don't use it outside, so I can't say how it work under the bright sun.

| | FYI, if you use an iPhone or iPad, the Polytune app, which is great, is only $.99.

| | This should get a chuckle . . . just stopped using a Korg GT 6 about 2 years ago. Got a Boss TU12EX. Seems perfect. However, haven't gigged in some 18 or so years . . . so no need for rapid on stage tuning. For the longest time I used to tune the entire band by tapping a 440 tuning fork and putting it up to my vocal mic. 3 horns ..trumpet, bone and sax. They loved it. I still gravitate to the tuning fork at home for the 440 A note then tune the rest of the guitar by ear. What a dinosaur!!!

| | Ha Ha actually I have been tuning by ear at home in this last few years, I realised I depended too much on tuners. But live I think they are essential, anything take can take potential stress is good. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
