 Installed a pickguard onto my Ibanez AK105SM I've had my Ibanez AK105SM for a while now and recently had been wishing it had a pickguard. I'm not sure why Ibanez didn't include one...maybe to not cover up the spalted maple...don't know. Anyway, I ordered one for an Artcore AF guitar from Ibanez Part Department. (ibanez.com/parts). It's rosewood and matches the knobs, pickup rings, bridge, etc. I'm super happy. Special thanks to fellow member DonEsteban for the idea and information. Here she is.  Pick guard came out great, and WOW I love the finish on that guitar! Overall a classy looking setup. |
