I was thinking recently about getting a blackstar ht dual pedal and sticking it infront of my zt club amp because I also hve a HT5 amplifier whose sound I like and wanted that sound but at a louder volume. A friend today said why don't you link the 2 amps together and the HT5 would effectively be a pre amp. Would this work? and would there be much difference between the pedal and using the amp? As I already have the amp this would be a cheaper if a bit bulkier solution
It should work. The HT has a line-level speaker emulated output. The Club has an Aux In input, which is also line-level. Just connect the two together and - bingo 200W of HT sound !
Thanks Newsense! I was just going to just plug it straight into the main input but if it's all balanced I'll try that first. I'll have to get a phono to mini adapter but that should be no problem
