Default Thinking about selling my 1970 Gibson 175

It's got the 3 pc neck but it really has got the vintage pat metheny vibe.

I had it refretted with 6105 frets and it plays and sounds like a dream.

I'm just not using it that much and have recently cut back on my playing time and it seems like something someone should play.

email me and I'll send pix.

I have $3100 into it with the refret.

I have a similar 72 175, and while they aren't the prettiest and don't have the flamey tops of recent 175s, they really do deliver the sound, and the electronics are bomb-proof. These 'veteran' 175s are underrated, IMO.

I prefer the "plain" tops. The flamey tops don't look right on a workhorse guitar to my mind. ... and bring back the rubber grommet on the pickup selector!
