AHA! We already have one of those! Thank you Marc!

Edit- Let's see if I can get this done-

There we go! AND There are no sharp fret ends on this one! Just have to get that foam strip out from under the bridge and try the Foley saddle I got in the mail today. Anyone have feed back on the Foley bone saddle for archtops? Seems the right thing for me, but it's not on there yet.

Thank you Ben,
You know you got the right guitar when you are still excited a week after you receive it! ;-)

Looks like a Peerless Monarch...which is a FANTASTIC guitar. I own one with a routed set humbucker from Lou over at Guitarsnjazz.com I love. I call would say its a working mans L5(or an L5 Wes with the routed set humbucker).

Enjoy a gorgeous instrument.

'Mike

Hope you take that foam out from under the bridge! It looks great now but will sound better without the foam.

Aye, it was made by Peerless. (before they started making the Monarchs, I believe) From what I have read this model has a "pressed" top, not "laminate" nor "carved". As soon as I get some flats to put back on it, I will get that piece of foam out and put my Foley bone bridge on. (or have a tech do it, since the saddle needs notching)
Thanks guys :-)

Can't run to town today for flats or getting the bone saddle notched, but, with the help of the wife, I loosened the tension and lifted the bridge gently while she pulled the foam out. Some improvement. The foam had been under there for so long it had crushed down to paper thin.
Thanks Kamla!
