Default What's up with Henriksen?

For a while their web site has been saying the new head/"convertible" was arriving in late 2011, but now the product web page has been edited to show only combos: Henriksen Guitar Amplifier: compact, solid state, small, inexpensive, powerful guitar amplifier

Henriksen don't use class D amp technology which means unlike A.I. they have to have big transformers and therefore heat in the heads they use. I know he's had problems fitting all in an appropriate housing so maybe he's put it on the back burner.

When I asked them about it they told me they were changing the amp's design and putting the head in a smaller enclosure - and also probably change the reverb (thank God!)

I think the first date was late 2011 and now it will be 2012. I think it's a good idea for them to make their products better, they have remained almost unchanged since the beginning. I wish they also changed the treble center frequencies or put a wider Q so the treble would be more controllable on the guitar.
