Sorry for my english.

Im too in ergo world. Its very interesting. Im deep into it. My back pains in just two hours of study with my Gibson L4, but today Ive studied eight hours with my new Klein Style, made by spanish luthier Luis Esteve. Its like a glove. Its basically a Klein with some corrections I made in some places, and chambered. Electronics, woods, hardware, all thougth by me.

Custom — LUES

Soon I will talk with him to make me another.

Beautiful Paco! My Spanish however is not anywhere near as good as your English, and it might be difficult to communicate with this luthier. Your story is encpuraging though, as I would love to be able to sit for hours on end without pain!

Half the price than American Luthiers. Around 1900 euros.

Paco,
Your klein-style is beautiful!

The price, however, is "half" an actual used Klein (which are overpriced, in my opinion), but not much less than other American made ergo guitars (Forshage, Canton, Curtis, etc.).

To Jzzr: yes, ergo guitars are excellent for jazz!!

Chris Forshage.
His web site is outdated, but you can find pics of his work on http://www.buildingtheergonomicguitar.comand all over The Gear Page.

I know the great work of Forshage, Canton and Curtis.

About the price:

The Klein Style I own carries Seymour Duncan (180 Euros), CTs, Orange Drop, JCustom (220 euros for a killer fixed and floating trémolo, not a simple, homemade one) Graphito Moses (210 euros) and a mindblowing gigbag, beautiful, plenty of pockets, for only 67 euros more. First quality maple and mahogany and luthery.

Id like you to ask the American whole price to make one, and see how long is my mistake.

Of course is not nothing against American luthiers or something like that, They are great, and innovating. Its just money talking.

BTW, someone who can write/talk Spanish should warn him about the lawsuit peghead on some of his guitars (see his website) - before Gibson sues him.

Paco,
You quoted 1900 Euros, which is about $2600 USD. The American guitars are in the low to mid $3000 range.

Marc

One never knows. Just think about the recent FBI raid at the Gibson facility. So just watch out - or you may have a visit by CIA one of these days.

No, seriously, it was the luthier, I was referring to.
