Default In search of: DeArmond neck rod

I'm scouring the internet for a gold-plated, short DeArmond neck rod - the kind that screws onto the fingerboard extension (not the long monkey stick). I'll pay too much for it, although not an offensive amount of course.

I might consider a chrome one in a pinch, and for less money of course, since it's not exactly what I need.

If anybody has one in their junk box, please PM me or send email to rpguitar AT gmail.

Thanks!

Thanks for the lead - I emailed him yesterday. I also sent email to Phil's Guitars courtesy of Kokomo Music, and of course to Joe at archtop.com.

For such a trivial piece of hardware, it's practically unobtanium. Very frustrating!

Mitch apparently makes these himself. I got a reply from him, and hope to get specifics soon. I'll post if there's any interest. Thanks again for the tip.
