Default Roland GR-20 help with Metheny sound

Howdy,

I am the new owner of a freshly used Roland GR-20, playing through a Godin xTSA. I am trying to tweak the unit to best emulate the GR-300 Pat Metheny (offramp, are you going with me) sound.

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

ps Based on some youtube vids I have seen, it looks like the new GR-55 has that ability, but I did not have the budget for one.

The -55 does have that patch but it still needed to be tweaked a bit. I'm not sure what voices the GR-20 has though.

The GR-20 has a patch labeled "Pat Brass" (patch 17 under the Brass tab) but that is all I have seen related to Pat Metheny sounds.

I like the GR-20 for what it has, but was hoping someone had also found some tweeks to emulate the Roland GR-300
