 Pickup install I have a KA micro-humbucker I want to install on an archtop. The solder lugs are pointing down instead of to the side for some reason. They are quite big. Can these be bent sideways? I contacted the maker to find out but haven't heard from him yet. I'm wondering if I should drill two holes for the two lugs as is. I don't want to run wire through the f-holes. This is turning into a PITA and I can't find a luthier in my area to trust. The pickup as pictured showed the lugs pointing sideways. Has anyone around hear installed the KA mini or micro humbucker? Edit Joe at archtop.com got back to me about this. They can be bent but I'll leave the lugs where they are and drill right underneath them. Last edited by Stevebol : 10-28-2011 at 05:03 PM.
