Hi,

What application do you want it for? I was considering the same guitar because it seemed very versatile. I almost ordered on line before ever trying it. Then i saw one at guitar center and it looked really nice. Plugging it in i really didn't care for it. The playabilty is pretty much like an entry level acoustic. I was hoping it felt more like an electric. It sounded kind of thin and unimpressive.

I strongly suggest to spend some time with it before buying. If i bought one online it would've had to go back.

bflat thanks for the reply-i read some reviews and they seemed good so i was considering it but if it is like you say i wont want it. i am looking for acoustic with a cut out to play jazz but i am primarily wanting something that has a jazz tone and doesnt have to be amplified. i wanted to be able to go both ways. it is in the right range price wise and i really want that cut out so i can play the upper frets.

Have you been able to try it out first hand? I found the action to be pretty poor above the tenth fret.

Someone posted earlier about an ibanez artore ak 80 at american musical supply for 300 bucks. While is not an acoustic guitar it a fantastic deal.

If you buy online be sure they have a return policy but you will have to pay return shipping.

I hope it works out for you!

B flat: you were right about the montage - much too thin for me. but i did find an epiphone performer se acoustic /electric on sale at a terrific price because it was a discontinued item from epiphone. i stole it!!!!!! also got a Crate acoustic amplifier a floor model all for 400. it has a very good tone for an inexpensive guitar. and was right in my wheelhouse. so now i am set. by the way this guitar is like a jumbo only a wee bit smaller so it can be played with or without an amp an will be ok.
