Ibanez AK80 at AMS

For those who have been interested in this model from Ibanez, the AK80 is being closed out at American Musical Supply at a ridiculously cheap price. I just got one, and am very happy with it.

Wow, $299, great deal/value. I dig the Artcore AK models. Obviously influenced by the ES175 in style, but smaller and more comfortable for some. Love my AK105SM.

Wow, that is a steal. I really wish I needed that right now. I'm almost tempted to grab one and stash it in the closet but the closet is too full right now :-)

No, no, no - you never regret the guitars you buy, only the ones you don't buy. I got the AK105SM when they were available too - good guitar; and then later the AK80A (the acoustic version), they were only made for a month. There is a spare '57 Classic' lying around here somewhere that will eventually turn the AK80A into a slimline, single-pickup, version of the ES175. If you know a guitar is right for you, get it if you can; the way things are going they will cost half as much again by the time you regret it - if they are available at all.

Will be putting a Bigsby on mine. Loving the three-tone sunburst! Looks very classy.
