Guitar D'aquisto New Yorker demo

I just received 2 D'Aquisto New Yorker and made some recordings. Those guitars are today manufactured in Nagoya, Japan. The quality is excellent and affordable. Those guitars are located in Belgium and ready to be tested, if you interested.

D'Aquisto New Yorker demo

One video is done with flatwound strings and the other, roundwound. The amp is an AER Compact 60, miced with an AKG Perception 220, recorded with Quicktime.

I'm not a very good player, but I hope this demonstrates the sound. I'll post some more soon. Let me know what you think.

Sounds awesome. The playing is good. I'm also into that couch. I honestly think D'Aquisto would have an easier time selling guitars if they had demos online (yours being the first high-quality one). How many people have commented on this board alone about the Matt Otten video with the Peerless Monarch?

Anyhow: congrats. Does this mean you made your choice about guitars you are going to sell? Send me a D'Aquisto Solo please. Thx.

Thanks Spiral. Yes, I had to make some choices. I just received those 2 New Yorkers and they are really great boxes. I'm uploading another sample with backtrack.

But I will not stop there, I ordered an Elferink and a Campellone. The Elferink should be ready any time now. The Campellone end of this year.

Concerning the Solo, well, you can get them in the US, right? It wouldn't help you if I had one: I'm in Belgium, Europe.

Wow. That is quite a collection. I think you will be blown away by the Campellone. I'm not sure there is a better quality to price ratio in independent luthiers than Campellone's guitars. The Elferink i've admired from afar but will likely never play one.

I know you are. I was just kidding. They aren't available anymore, and when they were, there are no dealers. I've never quite figured out what the D'Aquisto strategy was in the US. Luckily i will finally (after 2 years looking) will have a chance to play one this week in New Jersey provided it isn't sold.

Again: congrats on the new inventory and thanks for putting up nice clips for the world to see.

I could get a Solo, but I got to buy 2 and put them in stock. I don't think I have enough reach yet to be able to sell 2.

I'll keep posting samples and pictures. For the Campellone, I'm preparing a story (like I did for the Elferink) about the creation of the instrument. Marc has been so kind and send me pictures of every step. He seem to be a great guy.

Thanks for your kimd words and your support. If you stumble apon an player in europe that is looking for great boxes, let me know.

Beautiful guitars, and the vids sound great. You have a nice feel and control in your playing.
Cool place too!
I'm with spiral... D'Aquisto would benefit from having such demos on the net.

Thanks. I already sent the link to D'Aquisto, so now they know.
