| | I've yet to see one in person to try out...as long as it was voiced "clean," I imagine it could be a great backup in a pinch...but if it's another one of those little things meant to distort as you crank it up, then I guess it would be less useful.
Hopefully someone else has come across one... |

| | I've never heard one, but I've seen one: it's the size of a stomp box! |

| | I have an EHX 22 Caliber as a backup. The 22 Caliber doesn't have alot of headroom, but it serves its purpose for me as a tiny, super portable backup. The 44 should have more headroom, but I don't think either of them remain clean all the way up. |

| | Sorry to bump an old thread, but I tried a 44 magnum recently and it gets REALLY LOUD before it starts to distort.
A Fender Twin doesn't stay clean all the way up either. That doesn't mean it doesn't have enough headroom... |

| | I have one, I also have a light weight high efficiency cab (103 dB). Together, I was able to make very loud clean sounds although it starts distorting but not very much. I would recommend a nice preamp pedal (or a guitar with responsive tone circuit) since it does not have a real EQ. As a light weight sturdy backup that fits into your guitar case or gigbag, it is very hard to beat it. Also useful to take to jam sessions when volume and/or weight are issues. |

| | I have an Eminence Wizard in the cab. Jensen Neos are about 99 dB. So theoretically, to get the same loudness (SPL), you would need to have a 110-Watt amp pushing the Neo. This presumes the dB calculations were done in exactly the same way for both speakers (usually not true).
