Default Pickup recommendation for Godin 5th Ave Kingpin acoustic

In the never ending quest for great jazz guitar tone - and mindful of the unbelievable sound I think Martijn von Iterson gets out of his Gibson ES125 (‪MVI solos 2‬‏ - YouTube) - the thought struck me that I could slap a pickup on my Godin Kingpin and possibly get something decent sounding. I play mostly through a Fender Blues Junior but I also have a ZT Lunchbox.

Problem is I have no clue about what pickups might be a good fit, and I'd like to keep the cost down (and in particular, I don't want to go hacking up the guitar itself). Is there a decent pickup out there that won't break my bank and wouldn't involve a mounting scheme that would compromise the guitar's acoustic sound?

I have a friend who bought the King Pin acoustic because he loved it's sound over the ones with a PU installed. He installed a bridge peizo on it without doing anything invasive. Sounds nice. He uses it in a Gypsy jazz setting and for vintage sounding four on the floor rhythm playing.

I'll try to find out the name of the pickup.

Thanks Jazzaluk. I'll check into it, and I'll also check with my local luthier. I also found this: STEWMAC.COM : Benedetto Suspended Jazz Pickup - I wonder if that might fit the bill (although it's pricey).

I have the Benedetto installed on my The Loar.
Here's a (not so very good) sound sample: ‪The Loar LH-600+Benedetto s-6 pickup.mov‬‏ - YouTube

Wow, very nice playing, Geert. Thanks for the clip.

The Benedetto sounds really good in that video - perhaps a bit bass-ey, though - do you find that you can adjust the bass through your amplifier without too much trouble? One of the problems I have with my Samick JZ4 (which has a floating pickup) is too much bass, and it tends to feed back.
