Default D’Aquisto Aria

Aria have started producing the new D’Aquisto's including the teardrop.

They also are producing a model which looks very simuilar to one of the models sadowsky are offering.

Actually, I think they've been producing those models for awhile now.

Yup, it's been a while. I wonder if they're worth what they're asking for them though...

Default D'Aquisto Jazz Line

I have an Aria D"Aquisto Jazz Line guitar and really love it...it has a smooth jazz sound and the craftsmanship is excellent for the price. It has a 16 inch bout and is 2.62" wide. These dimensions make it comfortable to play. Jim Hall played a authentic D"Aquisto which was a similar model. He has since been endorsed by Sadowsky which produces the Jim Hall model. If you look at both guitars they look very much alike. Both are made in Japan. The Aria is made in Nagano and the Sadowsky is made by Yoshi Kikuchi, a luthier in Tokyo.

They're pretty as hell, but too expensive for a laminate. I could get an ibanez george benson or a pat metheny model, and still walk away with about one grand...

I tried both the build quality is better in the Jazzline.
I think an old 175 is higher than all
The only flaw is that the electric sound is not as warm and dark as the 175, I think the mahogany neck makes the difference
