Default D'Angelicos built by Heritage

I've noticed a few threads here about Vestax D'As and MIK D'As. Does anyone here own a D'A which was ghost built by Heritage in Kalamazoo?

At the 2010 Summer NAMM I talked with luthier Bill Comins about the US handmade D'angelico line that was planned to be coming out soon. I played the prototype at the Summer NAMM and it was really nice. My understanding, from what I can remember when I talked with Bill, is that he is making the body/neck and Heritage guitars is going to be doing the finished.

Fast forward many months and it appears that that partnership is all but dissolved and there will likely be no US build D'angelico guitars in partnership with Heritage.... though I could be wrong.

Cheers,
Steve
