 art tube mp fantastic Applied Research & Technology: Tube Mic Preamps best fifty bucks I have spent on music equipment. by miles. 1. recording on the computer, boosts the signal, but keeps the tone of the guitar intact. 2. playing live.... does the same thing. amazing device. I normally don't recommend gear, but I like this thing so much, that I am doing so for it.     |

| they are great. i believe the fact that they are dirt cheap fools people into thinking they can't be that great. i bought a tube to replace the tube inside of mine however(they do come with crappy tubes), but it seemed annoying trying to get inside. I use the ART channel strip now, as it has a compressor and a bass rolloff in it as well. The eq I could care less, it isn't even tube eq. So ya, I got the ART channel strip, replaced all three tubes with new ones, and bam, sweet device :-) If you happen to need another one, I have an extra art mp, along with the EHX tube that I never installed. Let me know!
