Default Galli Flatwounds vs DAddario Flatwounds 13s

So a string snapped on my Benedetto style solid archtop, having been strung with a set of Galli 13s that were given to me by the luthier who built it (included in the case on purchase).

This is my first time choosing a set for the archtop, and have been met with a couple of options : stick with the Gallis, or go with a cheaper set of DAddarios.

I would love to hear any opinions on the quality of both sets from the experienced guys here.

I played Galli strings for years (not flats but 12-52 blues heavy sets) and never had a problem with them. I also had a D'Addario low E breaking at the ball end and shooting itself off the bridge, once. I think these kind of accidents happen very rarely, so I wouldn't worry about it. I could however get Gallis cheaper than D'Addarios here in Hungary. If it were the other way 'round I would just go with the cheaper set. I don't think there's much difference between them, but let's wait for the flatwound guys to chime in.
