Guitar Ramirez 2CWE or Prudencio Saez 90

I consider the purchase of a nylon string Ramirez 2CWE single cutaway with a Fishman p.u. (50 nut width). It plays awesome and has a great tone. Two less expensive nylon strings I tried are the Prudencio Saez model 80 and model 90. Both very nice guitars, but the model 90 sounds a bit more warm, mellow to me.
Any experience with these Ramirez and Prudencio Saez guitars ? It's not possible for me to compare the Ramirez and the PS in one shop. I hesitate do you guys think there's much difference ? Would the Ramirez be worth the extra money ?

I did a lot of research on these models a couple of years back. I learned that the Ramirez uses laminates woods for the back and sides. I think that's a shame considering the amount of money that guitar sells for.

I also heard that these guitars are farmed out to local builders in Spain as Ramirez is too busy with there standard line of guitars.

Regarding the Fishman, it's nice but they have to cut a decent size hole in the side to accommodate the controls. A few classical players I know frown on this as they feel the sides contribute a lot to the tone. (They also frown on cutaways so....) They recommended the less obtrusive LR Baggs PUP.

I spoke to someone at Guisma, the makers of P Saez. They were very nice. These guitars are also laminate back and sides but the price is a lot less. They also come with or without a truss rod from what I was told. I liked the one with the more squared off hole and neck that extended to the sound hole.

I settled for an Alhambra P7CWE. It has all solid woods and the Fishman. The price was right too. It's a nice guitar.

Good Luck

Thanks for your reply John. Indeed, regarding the material used and compared to other crossover guitars the Ramirez is (too) expensive. I must say I liked the one I tried, but so I did the PS. Of course the brand name and maybe the value on the market for used guitars is what counts too. I heard about some good experiences with the Alhambra. It's gonna be my first nylon string jazz experience, that's why I hesitate and struggle
