Amps Polytone minibrute IV

Hi folks, I'm looking for info on this amp, Polytone minibrute IV. I inherited it from my guitar teacher after he passed away and I've had it in my rehearsal rooms for the past year but it doesn't seem to be a useable amp for rock music... more of a jazzers thing I think! Anyways it's sitting here doing nothing which is a waste. I'm looking foe an ideas on resale value? I'm in the uk. any information would be appreciated. I tried playing my tele and G&L thro it but it's too rich a sound for my ears.... which is a shame as I'd love to use it
cheers
john

what I usually do is go to ebay and search under complete auctions to find out what they sell for. The selling price is green. The red prices are asking prices that never sold.

When you sell locallly (not ebay) I find the price is a bit lower but it depends on the item and more importantly your local market (where I live is not a great place for guitarists.. at least not jazzers)

Hi - depending on age and condition I'd guess it would sell at about 300-350 GBP.

no its not a rock amp...

my 1962 Stratocaster sounded like #$%&^%$# through it...

But my 1977 Ibanez 2355 (es-175) sounds great to me and the group I am in..a jazz guitar trio....drums and bass....

time on the instrument...pierre
