Hey Gents,
I have an Eastman guitar which has one of these incredibly thin volume potentiometers and I'd like to figure out where to buy them for a project of mine. I can't for the life of me find them. Anyone know where they are or what they are called? Thanks in advance!
I know that guys love the 500K pot, and its slight extra high end sometimes.
But for many PU's, a 250K works far better. Smoother control (vol and tone) via a better impedance match. So the Stewmac 250K option is handy in my opinion.
I replaced these pots on my Eastman because they have really poor performance. The volume pot had 75% of the volume range in the middle 10% of the range of travel. The tone pot produced nothing but distortion unless fully rolled off.
I am much happier with full-sized quality electronics.
