| | Strobe Tuners.. Got a planet waves NIB for 43$ shipped. Wanted a stroboflip but they are considerably more expensive..
all I can say is
a) I have never enjoyed tuning my guitar as much
b) I have never noticed how crappy my machine heads really are.

| | What impressed me about the turbo tuner was the demo where the guy runs through scales and the tuner can keep up. Not something I really need tho.
I am using chromes on my 125 and 165 and both react well to the tuner.
XL110s on my Tele and no issues there either.

| | I have a Peterson StroboFlip. It's much more accurate than ordinary tuners. It should be the same with all the Peterson digital strobo tuners - I think they are the same under the hood. I have no experience with the mentioned Planet Waves tuner, but if it works the strobo way, I figure it's very accurate too. |

| | Has anyone compared the accuracy of their strobe tuner with either the iStrobe or TC PolyTune for iPhone? |

| | I have the Peterson iStroboSoft for iPhone, very precise and fast. The display is like the StroboFlip, it has 1 cent precision and tracks very well acoustically with the iPhone mic. |
