Default Roland SUPER Cube 60...comments please

I have a Roland SUPER Cube 60 being transferred to a local store for consideration of purchase (part of a national chain of music stores here in Canada...Long & McQuade). It is cosmetically in almost mint condition.

This amp was apparently produced for a somewhat short duration in the mid '80's (it is not one of the orange Cube 60's). It has a slightly different control layout. It is also the guitar amp (SCL model...the bass amp was SCB model).

I can try it for 30 days and return it for a full refund. The price is very reasonable.

Has anyone owned one of these or played through one?

I have an old Roland Cube 60 (the orange one) but it has issues and has was abused by the previous owner(s). Even in this sad state, I like it. I put in a C-Rex speaker (The original has a bad speaker rub).

All comments appreciated.

Cheers

Dave

Vic Juris uses old cubes from the 80s, so they must be good. If you can try it for 30 days you will have plenty of time to form an opinion!

Many thanks for the comment.

I picked up the amp yesterday. It is almost mint cosmetically.
I have been trying it and so far, so good.

Cheers

Dave
