Default Bridge/Middle Pickup For Fender Strat

Hey everyone I am looking to replace the bridge and middle pickups on my Strat for something warmer but still with that good bitey sound of the bridge. I currently have a Pro Track in the neck which is great and gives the Strat a really nice warm tone, so something that would combine well with that and the bridge pickup as well as sound nice on its own would be ideal. I've been considering the new Paul Gilbert single coils to use in the bridge and middle, so if anyone has experience with those let me know how they are. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated, hum-cancelling single coils preferred. Thanks very much,

-Alejandro

I also just put a Pro Track in the neck of my strat. Love that pup.

you could always try the Pro Track in all three positions, or the Virtual Solo or Tone Zone S in the bridge. The Tone Zone S is quite a bassy pup, but the full-size one I have in another guitar is really great.

the Chopper gets a lot of good reviews, but being less powerful than the Pro Track I dunno how well that will balance.

I have the Fast Track 1 in my middle position, but that's more stratty-sounding.

^Yeah I'd like a good Start sound in the middle, and still something more bitey but not as trebly in the bridge. The main problem is the two front pickups are much weaker than the Pro Track, so I'd need something at least in the bridge to match the volume of the neck pup. Maybe a Virtual Solo/Fast Track 1 in the bridge/middle? I'll look all of those up on Dimarzio's website, I remember reading about the Virtual Solo but not the others. Thanks
