| | +1, I have one, great guitar, still has a nice woody, hollow sound, but less feedback issues than a full bodied carved top, plus the size & weight makes it very easy to lug around & play a long gig with. |

"a 5-ply maple laminate body with a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and cat's eye pearl inlays. Ebony bridge, tailpiece and pickguard; gold hardware. 24 3/4" scale length, 22 frets, 15 frets to the body, 1-11/16" nut width, 2-3/4" body thickness. " |

| | Yeah, the key is to really know what you want from the neck. I did a lot of A-B-C ing with the Jim Hall and Jimmy Bruno. The neck specs, as well as the body, are different. I went in expecting to leave with the Hall, and preferred the JB. And, it was the neck that I loved. Both are exceptional guitars.

I think I'd prefer the slightly narrower neck on the Bruno but haven't had a chance to play one. Was it also slimmer front to back? |

The shop (Sadowsky has a demo wall with every guitar they make) also had the 17 and SS-15 on the wall, so I was able to compare and contrast all four of the hollows. Other than the measures on the Sadowsky website, I just went with the one that felt the most comfortable to me and sounded the most like the tone in my head. Luckily, in both cases, it was the JB.
