Default Greco FA-95 versus Ibanez AF-125

Hello everybody.

Just a question.
I have an Ibanez Artcore AF-125 AMB.
I really enjoy playing daily this guitar, but as a lot of people here I have been thinking for a while to buy an other guitar.

I could be interested in a Greco FA-95, (700-1000€), because it seems to be a very good copy of the Gibson ES-175, but I am not sure if it is really better as my Ibanez, or if it has at least really a different type of sound.
Obviously, it is almost impossible to find one to try before to buy it.

What may I expect from such a guitar in comparison with my Ibanez ?
(better sound unplugged , more Treble , more Bass , better for solo lines, chords melody, ballads, bebop ?).
Is the sound really close to an ES-175 ? (easier to try in a guitar shop) ?

If I can afford it, is it better to look directly for an ES-175 Reissue (new) instead of this Greco, or an Ibanez 2355 ? even if I am not a good player, but just someone who like to own guitars (but not to sell them )

Just to give you an idea of my (poor) playing, which really don't absolutely need an ES-175

I don't have enough knowledge or experience to respond to your question regarding the choice of guitars.

However, I'm certainly enjoying your playing!! (listening to you as I type) Congratulations !!

I'm a total newbie to jazz and trying to learn "All of Me" ...your link provided the most enjoyable version of this composition that I have heard.

Is there any way of obtaining a copy of your "All of Me" to help me learn the song?

Many thanks for considering this.

All the best in finding another guitar that you enjoy.

BTW ....I have an old MIJ Greco 335 copy...hence, my forum name.

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for your answers and your sample.
It seems that the Greco has a more "acoustic" sound as my Ibanez, which is really an electric guitar. I don't have this type of sound with the Ibanez, which doesn't mean that the sound cannot be good with the ibanez
Maybe the better wood + deepest body ?
It is something I am looking for. Something different

I can play unplugged with the Ibanez, and i do that often, but the sound is not soo good. More like a louder solidbody, more trebles.
The Ibanez is made to be played amplified. (I play mainly amplified, but not loud)
I would like to find a guitar which is also playable sometimes unplugged with a good acoustic sound, because I practise sometimes late in the night, when my family sleep.

It seems that the Greco could be an answer for a good price

PS :
Absolutely no problem to send you the backtrack and an Mp3 of my version.
I am also a pure beginner. My version is just the melody and a poor attempt to improvise on Am Pentatonic. Nothing special.
Send me your email per PM, and I send you that.
