Eastman ar610 for 900?

Been looking for an archtop(as you can tell from the many many post I have made about my search). Well I was looking at eastmans on ebay and I made an offer on an ar610 not really expecting them to take it. But they did and now I am contemplating if I want it. Was going to hold out for a higher end american laminate top, in hopes I would enjoy the playability and resistance to feedback more than the carved top eastmans. But, seems like for $900 this would be a really good deal. What do the experts on this forum think? How do you guys enjoy the neck feel and overall playability of the instruments? Should I expect a 1300 dollar guitar with great tone because of the work put into the body but a neck that doesn't feel any better than some mass produced ibanez or gretsch I could pick up at guitar center? I probably will grab it, I don't see myself regretting it, just wanted to get some feedback on them.
