Default Epi Joe Pass Emperor II or Epi ES-175

Help please! im looking for a classic jazz guitar sound. I have heard a lot of the joe pass signature, but not that much about the 175. Wich one would you choose and why?

By the way, their price is the same.

Thanks!

While I hate the size, I loved the sound of the Pass when I played it. I also really dig the feel of the neck because its the same as my Sheraton. Haven't player the Epi 175 to compare to though....

Check This Out!

I own both -- and love 'em both. If I had to pick one, I'd lean ever so slightly to the Joe Pass for sound, neck, and (for me) body size. If you're looking for a modestly priced jazz box, you really can't go wrong with either.

By the way, most dealers get about $100 more for the Joe Pass (new price).
