Amps Looking For ' Living Room' Wood Cab Combo Amp - Mesa Boogie, EmerySound or ???

I saw an older Mesa Boogie hardwood cabinet w/that cane cover, and I was floored. Then I also saw an Emery Sound advertised, and maybe that's a smarter buy. Does anyone have any other suggestions ? It would always be played at low volume, and I'm just looking for decent tone, and that wood cabinet look. Thanks Dennis

Don't know if AER acoustic amps are applicable, but they are available with hardwood cabs. There are companies that will build a hardwood cab for your amp. A company called Rogers (in the US) used to I believe.

If you saw a mesa and liked that, I would get one. They have some interesting customization options on their site. I bet that can get really pricey though.

Last year's Gretsh catalog had some beautiful furniture combo amps. I must have thrown it out by mistake. I think there was even one with two 6L6's and a 15" speaker. Pricey, though.

Earcandycabs.com will build you a custom hardwood cab or convert any combo amp you have into a transparent wood work of art. I have one of their cabs now and another on the way. Their work is top notch.

Hello,
You can sure make one by your self like my Bbjr. It costed me about 40 € and few days to get laguer dry. You need most a saw, knife and glue.

Default Mesa Boogie DC3 Wood Cablinet with Wicker Sceen

I have a Mesa Boogie DC3 made of wood and wicker. It's in Mint condition with the cover, kickback stand and foot swtich. I am considering selling or trading it. My asking price is 1000.00 because it's so rare and nice. It sounds incredible. I also have a very nice Marshall 1966 2x12 from the 80's I use with this amp. I'm open for offers on both. I am in the Dallas area.

Alessandro amps can come in a variety of hardwood cabinets. They are also very nice boutique amps. Other options include a chasis made of either sterling silver, or 24 karat gold.
