I'm interested in a semi that gives you a great jazz sound, like an hollow, but has all the sustain qualities (ie center block) of a semi. Ie , a semi that is a dedicated jazz box--one setin neck pup ONLY. it would be nice if it was small and light, but with a 25.5 scale and 1.75 nut. not looking to rock play blues, distort, overdrive, or anything like that.
seems like no one makes this type of guitar

So, I slapped a CC in the neck HB route on my ES 339 and thats as close to that as I can get.

How does this guitar compare?..I like Eastmans but the only ones that have stood out were the El Rey 1s.

Heh heh...I've contemplated removing the bridge pup on my hofner! I know what you're saying man...

Jack, this new eastman looks lovely...I love all their "dark" finishes...can't wait to hear it.

Wow, that is just plain gorgeous! Eastman seems to have some of the most beautiful finishes in their price range.

it's immediately going to the shop for a pickguard. I'll get it back in a week.
